Robert N. Beauchene, M.D.
Dr. Beauchene is a general ophthalmologist with a special interest in cataract surgery and diabetes screening. Dr. Beauchene has extensive experience in cataract surgery and is continually enhancing his education and incorporating new techniques in this field as well as all general aspects of ophthalmology.
Dr. Beauchene received his undergraduate and medical degree from University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario. After internship he attended Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario where he completed his residency program in neuropathology and ophthalmology. Dr. Beauchene is currently re-certified in ophthalmology by the American Board of Ophthalmology and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
Dr. Beauchene practiced ophthalmology for ten years in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. He then moved to Arizona in 1998 where he practiced until he joined the Eye Clinic of Wisconsin in 2002.
Luis Ferdinand M. Galang, D.O.
Ophthalmic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
Dr. Galang received his Bachelor of Science in business administration from the University of Wisconsin at Madison in 1990. He earned his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) from Des Moines University Osteopathic Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa, in 2000 and finished his internship at Michigan State University’s POH Medical Center in Pontiac, Michigan, the following year. He completed his Ophthalmology Residency at the Detroit Osteopathic Ophthalmology Consortium in Pontiac, Michigan, 2004. Dr. Galang finished his fellowship in ophthalmic and facial plastic surgery at Consultants in Ophthalmic & Facial Plastic Surgery in Southfield, Michigan, in 2005. Dr. Galang practiced in Troy, MI, before joining the clinic in 2007.
Vernon C. Parmley, M.D.
Corneal/External Disease & Comprehensive Ophthalmology
Dr. Parmley received his Bachelor of Science in microbiology from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, in 1977. He earned his M.D. from The Uniformed Services School of Medicine in Bethesda, Maryland, in 1982 and finished his internship at Letterman Army Medical Center in San Francisco, California, the following year. He remained at Letterman for his Ophthalmology Residency, which he completed in 1987. Dr. Parmley finished his fellowship training in cornea and external disease at Dean McGee Eye Institute, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, in 1991. He was the Director of Cornea Services at Madigan Army Medical Center until joining the clinic in 2003. Prior to leaving the Army, Dr. Parmley established the Madigan Refractive Surgery Center for treatment of refractive errors in soldiers.
David C. Tuman, M.D.
Dr. Tuman received his Bachelor of Arts in economics from Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois, in 1987. He earned his M.D. from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1991 and completed his internship at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center in Aurora, Colorado, the following year. He finished his Ophthalmology Residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC, in 1997. After completing assignments to Tripler Amy Medical Center in Hawaii and Blanchfield Army Community Hospital at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, Dr. Tuman joined the clinic in 2000.
