Michael H. Scott, M.D.

Dr. Scott is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist who specializes in medical and surgical care of the retina and vitreous. He earned his medical degree from the University of Iowa School of Medicine in Iowa City, Iowa, in 1993. He completed his internship at the University of Utah School of Medicine in Salt Lake City, Utah, in 1994, and obtained his ophthalmology residency there in 1997. Dr. Scott completed his Vitreo-Retinal Disease Fellowship at St. Michael’s Hospital, University of Toronto, in Ontario, Canada in 1999.
After completion of his fellowship Dr. Scott practiced privately, and also supervised the Retina Clinic at the Middleton Memorial Veteran’s Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin, for 10 years. Dr. Scott has traveled with the flying eye hospital, Orbis International, which focuses on saving sight worldwide.
Among other honors, he received the Distinguished Educator Award from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Dr. Scott joined the Eye Clinic of Wisconsin in 2017.
