Christiana L. Gandy, M.D.
Board Certified Ophthalmologist
Glaucoma & Comprehensive OphthalmologyDr. Gandy received her Bachelor degree in Music from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2007. Before attending medical school, she earned a Master and a Doctorate degree in piano performance from the University of Maryland. She then pursued her Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, graduating in 2017. The following year, she completed an internship at MedStar Harbor Hospital in Baltimore. She then completed her ophthalmology residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital – Weill Cornell Medical College in 2021, followed by Glaucoma Fellowship at the Duke Eye Center of Duke University in 2022.
Dr. Gandy will join the Eye Clinic of Wisconsin in 2022.

Matthew G. Hattenhauer, M.D.
Board Certified Ophthalmologist
Glaucoma & Comprehensive OphthalmologyDr. Hattenhauer received his Bachelor of Science from St. John’s University in Collegeville, Minnesota, in 1987. He earned his M.D. from the University of Wisconsin, at Madison in 1992 and then completed a transitional year at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He finished his Ophthalmology Residency at the Mayo Clinic Department of Ophthalmology in Rochester, Minnesota, in 1996. He remained there for his glaucoma fellowship, which he completed in 1997.
Dr. Hattenhauer was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, before joining the clinic in 1999.

Christopher J. Kucharski, M.D.
Board Certified Ophthalmologist
Comprehensive Ophthalmology & GlaucomaDr. Kucharski received his undergraduate degree in biology from Franciscan University of Steubenville, Ohio, in 2000. He went on to earn his medical degree from Loyola University’s Stritch School of Medicine in Maywood, Illinois, and completed his internship in the Indiana University School of Medicine’s Department of Surgery.
Dr. Kucharski completed his ophthalmology residency at Indiana University School of Medicine’s Department of Ophthalmology before he went on to his Glaucoma Fellowship in the University of Wisconsin’s Department of Visual Sciences.
Dr. Kucharski joined the Eye Clinic of Wisconsin in 2010.
